Cloud Voice Platform transforms the economics of voice for cable, ISP and telco providers
CommTech East, Mississauga, Ontario, April 15, 2014 – Alianza, the cloud voice platform company, today announced the launch of its cloud-based wholesale VoIP solution in Canada. Building on five years of experience in the United States, Alianza will now help Canadian cable companies, ISPs, telcos and resellers dramatically reduce total cost of ownership and rapidly launch new voice over IP (VoIP) services. The solution is available now and is used by a leading ISP in Canada.
Alianza’s Cloud Voice Platform is delivered along with carrier services from a leading national wholesale provider in Canada to provide a comprehensive, turnkey VoIP solution. Service providers can also leverage their own carrier services and use the Cloud Voice Platform to replace the need to build and manage a VoIP network. To support Canadian service providers, Alianza has added support for the French language, local star codes and emergency services, as well as interconnect agreements in Canada.
Alianza hosts and manages the cloud-based VoIP solution, providing all the technology and management components required to deliver and monetize voice services. Leveraging a customizable and rich feature set, service providers can easily address requirements for residential, hosted business, SIP trunking and mobile VoIP services. Using the Cloud Voice Platform, service providers can address multiple scenarios, including greenfield service launch, market expansion and TDM or VoIP network replacement.
The Cloud Voice Platform provides comprehensive management tools that give full control over product definition, account creation and customer care. Alianza also provides a deep set of APIs for back-office integration that enables automation and significantly drives down time and costs related to customer care and support. Alianza’s cloud-based solution uses a software as a service (SaaS) model that eliminates capital expenses and reduces risks for VoIP deployment and product innovation decisions.
“In today’s broadband-centric world, delivering voice the same old way does not make business sense for many service providers,” commented Brian Beutler, CEO and co-founder of Alianza. “Working with our partners, Alianza transforms the VoIP business model for our customers and enables them to deliver next-generation voice services that subscribers demand. Our solution will help Canadian service providers maximize profitability, innovate rapidly and minimize risk.”
The solution is being showcased at CommTech East taking place at the Mississauga Conference Centre, April 15–16, 2014.
