Integrated solution streamlines operations for broadband providers

DENVER, SCTE Cable-Tec Expo, September 22, 2014 – Alianza, the cloud voice platform company, today announced a new solution partnership and successful integration with WinCable from GLDS, the leading provider of billing, customer management and provisioning systems for small-to-medium global broadband providers. The partnership dramatically simplifies management and reduces the cost of delivering voice services.

Alianza has integrated its cloud VoIP solution and full stack platform with WinCable and the joint solution is used by a leading U.S. cable provider for its next generation VoIP services. Together the companies provide a complete cloud-based solution encompassing both voice service delivery and comprehensive back-office functions, including account creation, number activation, billing, and customer care.

Service provider staff can now enter and retrieve subscriber information in a single back-office platform and seamlessly provision the Cloud Voice Platform. Flow-through provisioning between the platforms is supported via APIs and eliminates swivel chair management and improves operational efficiency. Alianza delivers call detail records (CDRs) to WinCable so service providers can accurately bill and invoice subscribers.

At the cable provider that uses the joint solution, Alianza and GLDS were able to eliminate over half of the systems previously used to deliver and support VoIP and further automate work-flow to drive down costs and remove friction from future acquisitions and growth.

“We believe that the lowest cost and most agile approach to broadband infrastructure can be found in the cloud,” said GLDS president, Garrick Russell. “The partnership and proven integration with Alianza will make it easier, faster and less expensive for small and large service providers to deploy and manage VoIP.”

“We share a common vision with GLDS: make voice easy to deploy and manage,” commented Kevin Dundon, Alianza’s Executive Vice President, Business Development. “Integrating with GLDS’s cloud-based back-office and customer care solution helps broadband providers accelerate service deployment and reduce cost of operations.”

Both companies will be exhibiting at this week’s SCTE Cable-Tec Expo in Denver (Alianza booth 910 and GLDS booth 625). Contact [email protected] to schedule meetings at the show and learn more about cloud VoIP solutions and the GLDS partnership.
